Cozy Cave Plush Pet Bed

Perfect fit for 12 yo mini pinscher about 11 pounds. When we are gone from home, wanted something where she would feel safe and warm. This is a medium size.

This bed is soft and fluffy but the top is kept up with a bendable wire that collapses and does not stay up, so the dogs usually end up on top of the cave part, completely defeating the purpose of giving them a den-like experience. I will give it a little more time but will probably be returning it. So disappointing.

My dog loves it and it’s so soft and the top has a bendable wire thingy in it to shape it or lower it I ordered another one a little bigger but I could of done the small size for one chihuahua and it would of been big enough but still satisfied with it I would recommend it and wasn’t expensive either

My dogs love this and sleep there every night, cozy and warm. You have to shape it and fluff it out of the package. It is machine washable and comes out nice and fluffy. A little pricey but a great purchase. Choice of sizes.

My 5lb YorkiePoo lovvvves this dog cave! No complaints. I wish it came in solid colors, but no biggie. We’ve had it for over 3 months now and he loves hanging out in there every day. We live in Florida, and I don’t keep it too cool in the house during the day, so he’s mostly in there in the morning and evening. But if we lived in a cooler climate, he’d prob be in there all the time! You can see of all his dog beds in my office, which one he chooses. (There are two more beds on the other side. Don’t judge! Lol)TIP: The instructions explicitly say not to dry it in the dryer with heat. Believe them! lol. I forgot and the metal wire that keeps the hood up got a little warped. That’s me not following instructions though. It still works perfectly fine and my baby loves it!

At first my puppy was going wild ripping the hair out of the inside of the bed, the spacing on the faux fur makes it fairly easy for him to rip out, and I thought I might have to return it. But after I showed him how to get inside with a couple of his toys he is a fan. I got the small size, 3lb chihuahua puppy has room to spare and I think will grow with him. The top of the hood doesn't stay up on its own very well, he tends to just sit on the top of it, but whatever it's a comfy spot regardless.

Purchased the 27” for my 24”L x 22”H pup. Item arrived vacuum-sealed. No weird smell at all upon opening. Before using, I threw it into the washer on the bulky setting, warm. Threw it into the dryer on low for 125 min, but it was taking pretty long to fully dry, so I put it inside out (flipped hood part backwards) and set it on medium heat for 40 more min. That did the trick. (It recommends low but I was impatient.) My pup was immediately curious when I brought it downstairs. He attempted to step into it twice, but he wasn’t sure about what to do with the hood part. He didn’t understand how to get up under it. It was funny to watch. I know he will get the hang of it eventually. Earlier this year, he developed anxiety from loud nextdoor neighbors. I am hoping this bed helps with that issue and calms him. Day 1 with the bed, he lays on top of the hood, with it flat. See pictures. He fell asleep almost immediately. It’s very soft and cozy. It did not get matted after washing/drying. I see negative reviews about the hood part not staying up. Mine didn’t have that issue. Of course, it will flatten more if your dog is heavy and likes to lay on top of it. The more your dog goes up under the hood and molds itself into the material, I’m sure the hood will stay up over time. Washing and drying helps keep it fluffy as well, making the hood more pliable. All in all, this was a winner! I love the brown gradient color. I bought a 2nd one in dark gray gradient for upstairs.**UPDATE 7/24: I received the 2nd order today (different color) but this one did not fare well after washing. Some stuffing came out in the wash and in the dryer. I found a ripped seam on the inside, around the bottom. I took off two stars for that, as now I will have to sew it myself. (I’m no seamstress!) I’m guessing that some of these aren’t sewn as well as others, and maybe it’s just the luck of the draw. Also, this one did have a slight smell after drying it, I’m assuming that it’s coming from the outside lining on the bottom. I’m a little bummed about this purchase now, honestly. It’s cute and my dog still likes both beds, but I’m not happy about the poor sewing.

All in all not happy with the purchase, it came and it was all sucked up into a vacuum seal bag and I thought it's going to pop-up and like one of those mattresses, nope, it's ridiculously unpadded, so don't expect a padded bed.I kind of was hoping it would be like some sort of tempur-pedic material, but turns out it's not padded at all they barely stuff, the dang thing, and it's almost like it's buying a used bed, cause I have a used bed that she's been using for like 5 years and it is all worn out; and it's basically the same amount of padding in this brand new dog bed. So I have the brand new bed sitting on top of the old bed to help pad it, basically so it's just kind of a scrappy bed. I would never buy this if I had known. How it actually is the wire that holds up.The hood is just one wire on the arc. Now, if the wire was a circle around the whole bed, then maybe had some sort of structure holding it up, it might work a little better sure she's inside of it, but I wanted it to be like good for her joints, if you were to get this bed for an old dog, my dog is 8 years old. Don't expect it to be like super soft. It is feux soft, like physically; it's fluffy, and that's about it, it's like...I don't know man; it's like they save money by not stuffing it with any kind of padding at all. Not happy with it, hopefully I can return it if I can't.I'm gonna have to buy something to put underneath it; or buy a whole new bed because it's ridiculous. I do not like the purchase. It is certainly not worth the price. This is like a twenty dollar bed and I bought the large size, my dog is a beagle spaniel mix.

It is as it appears but the opening is not as tall as it looks in the picture. It is wise to get one size bigger. I have a small 6lb Yorkie who snubbed her nose at it. I tried gently placed her in it and she still could not get out quick enough and completely ignored it afterward. I do not think she like the texture. I just threw out the bed and ordered something else. A cat might like this a bit better. I gave 3 stars as it is good quality but had to dock 2 stars for the opening shape and being rejected by my little diva.

My sister had purchased these beds for her pups and I needed a new bed for my little guy. He loves it. he gets inside it when he wants to go to bed or get warm. So funny. Its so soft and fluffy and that's what he likes. He's a little 20# chihuahua/doxie mix and he is so spoiled in his bed. He brings all "his babies" into his bed as well. Love that.

My chihuahua loves his little sleep cave! The top has sagged and I need to pick it up to let him in. I wish it had kept its shape. Still looks great and still gives my pup a place to burrow and sleep.

My little yorkie likes this bed. My husband's little dog does not. The band in the front holds up nice even when she sat on the top. The second one does not so it really depends on the one you receive.

I bought these dog beds for my two small miniature schnauzers, and they absolutely love them now that I made a small tweak. The design is super soft and cozy, but the opening was too small for my dogs to comfortably crawl through. Instead of returning them, I cut around the rim so the top would flop open like a little clamshell and that made all the difference!The comfort level is great, and my dogs curl right up inside and fall asleep instantly. The material is incredibly soft, and the cushioning feels plush without being too warm. The only downside is that since I had to modify the top, I can’t remove or wash it as easily and I think a zipper or larger opening would make this a perfect bed.Still, for the price, the quality and value are hard to beat. The stitching is solid, the material feels durable, and it’s clear my pups adore it.
